GNU/Linux Workshop, Manipur University ( MU ), on 10th July, 2007

Linux Manipur is organizing a free one day workshop on GNU/Linux and Free/Open Source Software; and its application, assimilating GNU/Linux and FOSS in our day to day working environment, at Manipur University on the 10th of July 2007.

Topics to be covered:
1. GNU/Linux installation.
2. Familiarizing with FOSS multimedia applications (mplayer, xmms, xine etc)
3. Writing CDs in GNU/Linux
4. Open Office and its applications
5. Internet configuration in GNU/Linux system.
6. Database applications using Free and Open Source Software
7. Samba configurations.
